Natasha Romanoff or commonly known as Black Widow is a spy trained by a mysterious Russian organization. This film will tell about the life of the character Natasha Romanoff before becoming part of the Avengers.

This film was made to explain the reason why Natasha chose to die in Avengers: Endgame, in order to save humanity and her teammates.

Although it is known that the character Natasha Romanoff died in Avengers: Endgame, this does not reduce the interest of Marvel fans to know the origins of Black Widow and her dark history as an assassin and secret agent.

The film stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff or Black Widow, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, and David Harbor as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian.

Synopsis of Black Widow

In this film will be told about Natasha Romanoff and Yelena Belova who are sisters. In 1995, when Natasha and Yelena were young, they were taken away by their surrogate parents—Alexei Shostakov who was a soldier otherwise known as the Red Guardian and Melina Vostokoff as a secret agent and former Black Widow.

Both are secret agents who disguise themselves as husband and wife to carry out a mission. They ran away from their home in Ohio after completing their mission.

They fled to Cuba, where Natasha and Yelena were placed in the Red Room which was a secret Soviet training camp for further training as secret agents and assassins for the secret KGB program.

Apart from being trained as a secret agent and assassin, Natasha has also sterilized her mind from doing her own will as an individual to ensure her loyalty.

As an adult, Natasha, who was specially trained as a secret agent, escapes and becomes a fugitive for breaking an agreement.

On the other hand, his sister, Yelena, is still working for the Red Room until she finds Red Dust—the antidote that takes away the Red Room's control over her. Starting from this, Yelena sends Red Dust to Natasha hoping she will help her.

Natasha, who at that time was a fugitive from the government, was also targeted by Taskmater who wanted to reclaim the Red Dust in Natasha. During her escape, Natasha will be reunited with people in her past life such as her sister Yelena, and her surrogate parents, Alexei and Melina. Natasha is forced to re-interact with people from her past and confront her dark past.
